Reverse description Trophy flanked by two seated captives: a female figure to the left and a male figure to the right, both positioned back to back with their hands bound, symbolising Roman victory over Judaea. The trophy, composed of military arms and armour mounted on a post, dominates the centre of the field. The composition is a direct reference to the triumph celebrated by Titus following the sack of Jerusalem in AD 70. The reverse legend, divided around the design, records Titus's titulature in abbreviated Latin capitals.
