Obverse description Bare-necked laureate bust of Titus facing right, rendered with strong portraiture typical of Flavian imperial coinage, the laurel wreath tied at the nape with a fillet. The legend encircles the bust, commencing at the lower left and running clockwise around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the characteristic robust physiognomy associated with Titus, with firmly modelled facial features and naturalistic hair beneath the wreath.
