Obverse description Draped bust of the deified Sabina facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound with a diadem or stephane, the head veiled as befitting a consecrated empress, rendered in fine high relief characteristic of Hadrianic court portraiture. The effigy conveys divine dignity through the combination of the veil and regal headdress, referencing Sabina's posthumous elevation to goddess. The encircling Latin legend reads DIVA AVG SABINA, divided on either side of the bust. The coin field is plain, directing full attention to the finely modelled portrait.

Reverse description A female figure, representing the deified Sabina or the personification of Consecratio, is depicted seated or borne aloft upon the back of a large eagle with wings displayed, the bird shown in dynamic three-quarter view as it ascends heavenward — a canonical symbol of imperial apotheosis in Roman numismatic iconography. The figure is draped and wears a stephane, arms extended and gesturing outward in a posture of divine elevation. The legend CONSECRATIO arcs around the periphery of the field. The overall composition, framed within a beaded border, evokes the formal ceremony of consecratio by which deceased emperors and empresses were officially deified.
