| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Maximianus facing right, rendered with characteristic realism of the Tetrarchic period; the emperor wears a laurel wreath and a paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, with finely detailed musculature visible beneath the cloak.
