Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Licinius I facing right, rendered with a short beard and closely cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath, in the robust portraiture style characteristic of the Tetrarchic period. The effigy is depicted as a bare-headed bust with the neck truncation visible at the base. The encircling Latin legend reads LICINI-VS P F AVG, identifying the emperor with his titles Pius Felix Augustus. The portrait exhibits strong, naturalistic modeling typical of the Siscia mint's early fourth-century production.
