| Obverse description | Bare-headed portrait bust of Gaius Julius Caesar facing right, rendered in a fine, idealized Republican style with wavy hair swept back from the forehead and neatly dressed behind the ear. The effigy presents a distinctive, sharply aquiline profile with a prominent chin, consistent with canonical Republican numismatic portraiture of Caesar. The legend is arranged around the periphery in crisp Latin capital letters, divided on either side of the bust. A beaded border frames the entire obverse design. |
