| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of the Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic short beard and finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath, the cuirass visible at the truncation with paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The portrait is executed in high relief with strong modelling of the facial features, conveying imperial authority. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the field, separated from the bust by a plain border. |
