Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of Nero Claudius Drusus facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair adorned with a laurel wreath, the neck bare and the portrait executed in the idealized Julio-Claudian style. The encircling Latin legend is set within a beaded border that frames the entire obverse field. The portrait conveys a commanding, idealized likeness consistent with posthumous commemorative coinage issued under Claudius.
