| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in high relief with fine engraving characteristic of Flavian imperial coinage. The portrait displays strong, individualized features with curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling legend DOMITIANVS AVGVSTVS runs around the periphery in bold, well-spaced capital letters.
