Obverse description Draped bust of Domitia Longina facing right, her hair elaborately dressed in the Flavian style with a mass of tightly curled ringlets piled high above the forehead and a long plait coiled at the nape of the neck. The effigy displays fine portraiture characteristic of the Rome Mint's Domitianic coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads DOMITIA AVG IMP DOMITIAN AVG GERM, distributed around the entire field within a beaded border. The rendering of the drapery at the shoulder and bust truncation is rendered with careful engraved detail.
