Reverse description A jug (capis) and lituus (augural staff) flank a central priestly emblems composition, with a curule chair depicted below; these symbols collectively represent Sulla's priestly and magisterial authority. Two trophies, rendered as upright stacks of arms and armour, stand to the left and right of the central field. The surrounding legend IMPER ITERVM is distributed around the field, reading within a beaded border, proclaiming Sulla's acclamation as imperator for the second time.
