| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate and bearded bust of Constantius I Chlorus facing right, rendered in high relief with finely engraved hair and a short beard characteristic of the Tetrarchic portrait style. The effigy displays a strongly modelled, idealised physiognomy consistent with the official imperial iconography of the Diocletianic period. The obverse legend encircles the portrait field, reading CONSTANTIVS NOB C, identifying the ruler as Noble Caesar. A beaded border frames the entire composition. |
