Obverse description Radiate or laureate draped bust of Allectus facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style typical of the Britannic usurpers. The emperor is depicted either draped alone or in combination with cuirass, reflecting the dual variant attested for this issue. The imperial effigy conveys authority through the detailed rendering of drapery folds and the prominent laurel wreath. The obverse legend encircles the bust, identifying the emperor with his titles. The portrait style is consistent with the Londinium mint's production under Allectus.
