Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic Hadrianic style with a short beard and carefully detailed hair. A Greek imperial legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan, partially legible due to wear. The overall execution reflects the provincial die-cutting tradition of the Thessalian koinon.
