| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, depicted in the provincial Greek style typical of Moesian civic coinage. The effigy occupies the central field with a Greek imperial titulature legend surrounding the portrait. The fabric is irregular and the flan slightly uneven, consistent with provincial hammered production of the early third century AD. |
