Obverse description Concave field depicting a frontal bust of Christ Pantokrator, nimbate with a jewelled cruciform nimbus, the sigla IC-XC flanking the bust in the left and right fields respectively. Christ raises his right hand in a gesture of benediction and holds the Book of Gospels in his left hand.
