Reverse description Three horizontal bands of Persian verse in elegant Nasta'liq calligraphic script fill the central field, proclaiming Nader Shah as sovereign over Iran and ruler of the world. The inscriptions are contained within a plain inner border surrounded by a beaded outer border consistent with the obverse design. The legends reference Nader as the king of Iran and conqueror of the world, serving as a propagandistic declaration of his rule.
