| Obverse description | Central toughra-form cartouche enclosing the Abjad numerical equivalent of Nader Shah's coronation year 1148 AH together with the Shiraz mint name, all rendered in elaborate calligraphic Arabic script. The mint name and regnal date 1149 AH appear in the legend below the toughra within the inner border. The entire design is framed by a beaded border encircling the coin's field.
