Obverse description Hammered gold flan of irregular circular form bearing a multi-line Arabic Thuluth inscription filling the central field, arranged in several horizontal registers framed by a double linear border with a dotted inner edge. The text of the Shahada is boldly struck in high relief calligraphy. The flan shows typical uneven edges characteristic of hand-struck Saadian gold coinage, with minor weakness at the periphery. A partial mint or date notation appears in the lower margin below the main inscription panel.

Reverse description Reverse displays a multi-line Arabic Thuluth inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a rectangular cartouche framed by a beaded inner border and a double linear outer border, all set on an irregular hammered gold flan. The central field carries the titulature of the Saadian sultan Abd Allah al-Ghalib in four lines of bold, densely interlaced calligraphy. The inscription panel is well-centered relative to the flan, though the coin's irregular planchet results in partial legend loss at the margins. The overall style is consistent with Saadian Moroccan gold coinage of the mid-sixteenth century.
