Reverse description A large eagle displayed facing, wings fully spread, standing atop a globe at the center of the field, its head turned to the right. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is inscribed in large letters to the left and right of the eagle within the open field. The bold, high-relief rendering of the eagle is a hallmark of Flavian bronze coinage struck under senatorial auspices. The reverse field shows characteristic surface patination and wear consistent with a circulated example.
