Reverse description Standing figure of Aequitas, the personification of equity and fair measure, depicted full-length facing left in draped attire. She extends a scales (libra) in her right hand and holds a long sceptre or rod in her left, both attributes emblematic of just commerce and imperial fairness. The legend AEQVITAS AVGVSTI is distributed in the left and right fields, while the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears prominently in the central field to either side of the figure. The composition is characteristic of Flavian reverse iconography, presenting the allegorical figure in a calm, static pose within an unadorned field.
