Obverse description Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, with characteristic realistic portraiture typical of Flavian coinage, rendered in bold relief. The emperor's effigy displays the aged, strong features associated with Vespasianic portraiture, with the laurel wreath encircling the head as a symbol of imperial authority. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the flan, partially visible through the coin's heavy patination and wear.

Reverse description The personification of Aequitas, goddess of equity and fair dealing, depicted standing left in flowing robes, holding a pair of scales in her outstretched right hand and a long measuring rod or sceptre in her left hand. The figure is rendered in the classical Flavian style, occupying the central field of the flan. The senatorial authorization abbreviation S C (Senatus Consultum) flanks the central figure, while the reverse legend is partially legible around the coin's periphery.
