Reverse description Standing figure of Aequitas, the personification of equity and fair measure, depicted facing left in full length. She holds a set of scales in her raised right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm, rendered in the classical allegorical tradition of Roman imperial reverse types. The senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is placed in the field to either side of the figure, flanking her at mid-body level. The legend AEQVITAS AVGVST encircles the design along the periphery. The flan exhibits characteristic hammered irregularity and a dark olive-green patina consistent with bronze coinage of the Flavian period.
