| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the high-relief portrait style characteristic of Trajanic Imperial coinage. The emperor's features are strongly modelled, with a prominent brow and close-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling legend runs along the outer rim of the coin in Latin capitals. Patination and surface wear are consistent with an ancient bronze struck by the hammer technique. |
