| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in bold high relief with finely detailed hair curls beneath the laurel wreath, its ties visible at the nape. The bust is draped with a paludamentum fastened at the left shoulder, presenting the emperor in his dual role as military commander and head of state.
