Obverse description Laureate head of Titus facing right, depicted with a draped bust, the portrait rendered in the vigorous naturalistic style characteristic of Flavian imperial coinage. The emperor is shown as a mature figure with strong facial features. The encircling legend reads T CAES IMP AVG F TR P COS VI CENSOR, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The die engraving reflects the high-quality work associated with the Rome Mint during the Vespasianic period.
