| Obverse description | Bare or laureate head of the Emperor Tiberius facing right, rendered in the provincial Hispanic style typical of Caesaraugustana-area mints. The portrait features a broad neck and stylized facial features characteristic of Hispanian municipal coinage. The encircling Latin legend TI CAESAR AVGVSTVS runs around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The flan is irregular in outline, consistent with hand-struck provincial production, and the coin has acquired a deep blue-green patina over the centuries. |
