Obverse description Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Tiberius facing left, rendered in high relief with characteristic angular features. The laurel wreath is rendered in fine detail across the crown of the head. A circular legend surrounds the effigy, distributed across the upper and lower fields. The portrait style is consistent with Lugdunum mint production of the Augustan-Tiberian transitional period, displaying strong, classicizing facial modeling.
