Reverse description A bull standing right, depicted in a robust and naturalistic style characteristic of Hispano-Roman municipal coinage. The animal is shown in full body profile with prominent musculature, its head turned slightly forward. The municipal legend MVNICIP CASCANTVM is divided across the upper and lower fields, identifying the issuing city of Cascantum in Hispania Tarraconensis. The design is bold and typical of Augustan-period provincial bronzes from the Ebro Valley region.
