(Translation: Tiberius the venerable (Augustus), son of the divine Augustus, supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar.)
Reverse description Central field features a sacrificial bull standing right, rendered in a sturdy, somewhat schematic provincial style typical of Augustan-Tiberian Hispanic municipal bronzes. The municipal magistrates' names and titles are distributed around the type in a circular Latin legend divided across the field, naming the two duoviri (IIviri) responsible for the emission. The legend reads M · C · I L · FVL · SPARSO L · SATVRNINO II VIR, referencing the local magistrates Lucius Fulvius Sparsus and Lucius Saturninous in their capacity as duoviri of the colonia. The overall composition follows the standard formula of the Calagurris civic coinage issued under Tiberius.
