| Reverse description | Confronted, facing busts of Drusus and Germanicus, the adopted heirs and designated successors of Tiberius, presented in a symmetrical arrangement at the center of the flan. The two princes are depicted in a close, nearly mirror-image composition, their portraits juxtaposed to symbolize dynastic unity. A circular legend surrounds the busts, reading C V T DRVSVS GERMANICVS CAESARES, referencing the municipal authorities of Tarraco along with the titles of the two Caesars. The reverse design is characteristic of the Julio-Claudian provincial series from Hispania Tarraconensis. |
