Reverse description A tetrastyle temple depicted in schematic frontal elevation, its triangular pediment bearing the Neo-Punic municipal inscription of Abdera. Of the four columns supporting the entablature, the two inner columns are distinctively rendered in the form of fish — an iconographic reference to the renowned tunny-fishing industry of the city — while the two outer columns are of conventional form. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted border. This unusual fish-column motif constitutes one of the most distinctive and recognized type identifiers among the provincial bronzes of Hispania Baetica.
