Obverse description Bare, beardless male head facing right, rendered in the Ibero-Roman artistic style with naturalistic curling hair. The portrait is youthful in character, with clearly defined facial features typical of Iberian bronze coinage of the second century BC. A galley prow appears in the field behind the head, serving as a secondary device. The flan is irregular and slightly rough at the edges, consistent with hammered provincial bronze coinage of the period.
