| Obverse description | Bare-headed laureate bust of Emperor Nerva facing right, depicted with naturalistic portraiture characteristic of the Flavian-Nervan period, showing aged features with closely cropped hair adorned with a laurel wreath. The bust is draped at the shoulder, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. The encircling Latin legend reads [IMP] CAESAR NERVA AVG III [COS], partially visible and distributed around the periphery of the flan. The style is consistent with provincial Roman coinage struck at Seleucia Pieria under Nerva's reign (AD 96–98). |
