| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Nero facing right, portrayed with the characteristic thick neck and rounded features associated with his later portraits. The emperor is depicted draped, with fine engraving of the laurel wreath and hair rendered in the Julio-Claudian court style. The surrounding legend reads IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P P, distributed around the full circumference of the flan. The die work exhibits the bold, high-relief portraiture typical of Neronian bronze coinage struck at the Rome mint. |

| Reverse description | Victory advancing left, her large wings spread prominently behind her, holding a shield inscribed SPQR (Senatus Populusque Romanus) in her left hand and a palm branch in her right. The figure is rendered in a dynamic striding pose, conveying martial triumph. The flanking senatorial authority marks S and C (Senatus Consultum) appear in large letters to the left and right of the central figure respectively. The composition follows the standard Neronian as reverse type associated with RIC I 543, with the exergue area plain. |
