| Reverse description | Standing female figure, identified as Roma or a personification of Imperial virtue, depicted in full length facing left in a statuesque pose. The figure is draped in a long garment and raises one arm aloft, holding what appears to be a patera or branch, while the other arm rests at the side. The reverse legend PONTIF MAX TR POT IMP P P runs around the periphery within a beaded border, referencing Nero's key titles: Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestas, Imperator, and Pater Patriae. The composition is consistent with the reverse type attributed to RIC I 122, struck at the Rome Mint during the period AD 62–68. |
