| Obverse description | Laureate draped bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the laurel wreath and curling hair. The emperor is depicted with his characteristic close-cropped beard, a Hadrianic innovation marking a departure from the clean-shaven convention of his predecessors.
