| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in a naturalistic portrait style typical of Julio-Claudian and Flavian imperial coinage. The effigy displays the aged, austere features characteristic of Galba's numismatic portraiture, with a short neck and draped paludamentum visible at the truncation. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP SER GALBA AVG TR P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |

| Obverse lettering | IMP SER GALBA AVG TR P (Translation: Supreme commander Servio Galba, emperor, tribunician power.) |
| Reverse description | The goddess Ceres, draped, enthroned and seated left upon a high-backed chair, holding two grain ears in her extended right hand and a caduceus in her left — an iconographic combination linking agricultural abundance with prosperity and divine favour. The figure is rendered in a classical style consistent with Neronian and early Flavian bronze coinage. The exergual field is plain, while the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consulto) flanks the seated deity, and the legend CERES AVGVSTA arcs across the upper field. |
