| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in a naturalistic portrait style typical of Julio-Claudian and Flavian imperial coinage. The exergual field is plain, while the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consulto) flanks the seated deity, and the legend CERES AVGVSTA arcs across the upper field. |
