| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, with naturalistic portrait features rendered in the Flavian style. The emperor is depicted with a wreath of laurel leaves encircling his head, a hallmark of imperial authority. The draped bust is shown in profile, filling the central field. The encircling Latin legend reads CAESAR DIVI AVG F DOMITIANVS COS VII, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and bold hammered relief typical of Roman aes coinage of the Flavian period. |
