| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Domitian facing right, wearing an aegis over the left shoulder, rendered in high relief with characteristic Flavian portraiture. The emperor's effigy displays a wreath of laurel leaves secured at the brow, and the aegis — the divine breastplate associated with Jupiter — is visible at the truncation. The surrounding field carries the imperial titulature legend in Latin characters, running clockwise from the lower left. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck bronze coinage of the Domitianic period. |
