Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing left, with naturalistic portraiture typical of early Flavian coinage, the wreath rendered in fine detail. The neck is bare, and the facial features are firmly modelled with a strong jaw and prominent brow. The encircling legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially obscured by the irregular edge of the struck bronze planchet.
