Obverse description Bare-headed and laureate bust of Domitian facing right, with short hair rendered in fine curls typical of Flavian portraiture. The effigy presents a youthful yet commanding likeness of the future emperor, depicted with slight drapery at the truncation. The encircling legend runs along the outer border, separated from the portrait by a beaded inner rim. The overall style reflects the official Flavian imperial workshop, with a bold, high-relief portrait occupying the majority of the flan.
