Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of the young Domitian facing left, rendered in a naturalistic Flavian portrait style with short curly hair and a light beard. The effigy is depicted with a paludamentum (military cloak) visible at the shoulder. The encircling legend reads CAESAR AVG F DOMITIAN COS II, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait is positioned centrally on the slightly irregular flan, consistent with hammered bronze production of the early Flavian period.
