| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Corinthian-style helmet. The effigy is rendered in a Greco-Iberian artistic style, with visible facial features and the helmet cheek-guards framing the face. A caduceus symbol appears to the left of the portrait in the field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination consistent with bronze coinage of the Iberian peninsula in the 2nd century BC. |
