| Reverse description | Central field bears a large inscription or civic emblem, with a municipal legend arranged around the periphery identifying the issuing magistrates. The reverse reads MVN TVRIASO L FENESTE L SERANO II VIR, naming the municipium of Turiaso and the two duoviri (magistrates) Lucius Fenestela and Lucius Seranus, who were responsible for the local issue. The flan is irregular and the surface patinated with dark green corrosion consistent with long burial, as typical of provincial Hispanian bronzes of this era. |
