Reverse description A large circular parma or round shield depicted in the center of the field, rendered with a decorative four-lobed interlace or petal motif surrounding a central boss, all contained within a beaded border. The shield type is a common reversal device on Lusitanian provincial bronzes of the Augustan period, evoking Roman military prowess and imperial authority. The design is bold and geometric, occupying most of the flan, with no legend present. The beaded outer border is well-preserved and clearly visible.
