Obverse description Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in a naturalistic Hellenistic style with finely detailed hair swept forward across the brow. The portrait occupies the central field, with the abbreviated legend CAESAR disposed along the left periphery. The effigy presents the emperor with idealized, youthful features characteristic of Augustan imperial portraiture. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, typical of cast and hand-struck provincial bronzes of this period.
