Obverse description Central device of a prominent upright wheat ear with well-articulated grains along the stalk, rendered in relief against a flat field. A crescent symbol appears in the right field beside the mid-section of the stalk. The lower portion of the stalk terminates above a horizontal line dividing the field. The border is composed of a beaded or dotted circle. The overall style is characteristic of Iberian provincial bronze coinage of the mid-2nd century BC.
