Obverse description Bare male head facing right, rendered in the Celtiberian artistic tradition with wavy hair indicated by incised lines. Two dolphins are depicted flanking the head as subsidiary symbols in the field, one positioned above and one below, a characteristic motif of the Celtiberian mint of Arekorata. The portrait displays a rounded, somewhat stylized facial treatment typical of Iberian bronze coinage of the second century BC.
