Obverse description Male head facing left, depicted in the Ibero-Roman artistic tradition, wearing what appears to be a helmet or laureate crown. The legend VRSONE is inscribed in Latin characters to the right of the effigy within the field. A dotted border frames the irregular flan. The portraiture is rendered in a provincial style characteristic of Hispanian municipal coinage of the late 2nd century BC.
