Reverse description The Virgin Mary depicted standing in full figure, holding the Christ Child before her, the composition framed between two beaded circles. The image follows the devotional Marian iconographic tradition common to Catalan coinage of the Habsburg period. A Latin Ave Maria legend surrounds the central figure, partially visible along the beaded border on this well-worn example.
